Bluey Beach Toys | Officially Licensed Playset Collection
Our Bluey Beach Adventure Playset brings all the fun of Bluey and Bingo’s seaside episodes to your own backyard or beach trip. The set includes character-molded sand tools, stackable buckets in Bluey’s signature colors, and a mesh carry bag that makes cleanup a breeze.

We manufacture these beach toys from BPA-free polypropylene plastic that stands up to saltwater, chlorine, and direct sunlight without cracking or fading. The material choice matters because cheap beach toys often snap after a single trip — ours are engineered for season after season of use.

Sizing & Age Recommendations
This set is safety-tested and certified for children 18 months and older. The shovel measures 9 inches long with a 2-inch-wide blade — small enough for toddler hands but functional enough to actually move sand. Our design team tested dozens of handle diameters before settling on the current 1-inch grip that works for ages two through six.
The larger bucket holds about 64 ounces (half a gallon), which sounds modest but is actually the ideal capacity for a four-year-old to carry when filled with wet sand. The smaller bucket nests inside for compact storage in beach bags or toy bins.

Care & Cleaning Instructions
Rinse all pieces with fresh water after every use — saltwater and sand particles left to dry will eventually scratch the surface and dull the character details. The toys are top-rack dishwasher safe, though we recommend hand washing to preserve the vibrant blue and orange color printing.
Store the set in the mesh bag with the drawstring loosely tied. Never seal wet toys in airtight containers; trapped moisture causes mold growth within 48 hours. If you notice any stubborn sand stuck in the mold crevices, an old toothbrush and warm soapy water will clear it out.

Bluey Beach Toys – Your Questions Answered
The set is safety-tested and certified for ages 18 months and up. All pieces are made from BPA-free, phthalate-free plastic with no small detachable parts that pose choking hazards. The rounded edges and oversized grips are specifically designed for developing motor skills in toddlers.
We always recommend adult supervision during play, especially with children still learning to handle tools. The shovel and rake have soft-grip handles that won’t hurt if a child accidentally bumps themselves during enthusiastic digging.
The Bluey and Bingo molds work best in damp sand — the kind you find near the waterline at the beach or when you add a little water to sandbox sand. Completely dry sand won’t hold the shape when you lift the mold, and overly wet soupy sand tends to collapse.
We suggest packing the sand firmly into the mold, smoothing the back flat with your hand, then lifting straight up in one quick motion. Kids usually get the hang of it after two or three tries, and we’ve found that letting them experiment is part of the fun.
Yes, these toys are UV-resistant and chlorine-safe. We manufacture them from polypropylene plastic that stands up to pool chemicals, saltwater, and direct sunlight without fading or becoming brittle. Many customers tell us they use the buckets and molds in backyard pools all summer with no color loss.
After pool use, we do recommend rinsing the toys with fresh water to prevent chlorine residue buildup. The same rinse-and-air-dry routine you’d use after a beach trip works perfectly for pool days too.
Rinse the molds under running water immediately after use — fresh sand washes away easily. For stubborn particles stuck in Bluey’s ears or facial features, use an old soft-bristle toothbrush with warm soapy water to gently scrub the crevices.
The toys are top-rack dishwasher safe if you prefer machine cleaning, though hand washing tends to preserve the printed details longer. Never use abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals, as they can scratch the plastic and dull the character artwork.
The larger bucket measures 7 inches in diameter and holds about 64 ounces (half a gallon) of sand or water. The smaller bucket is 5 inches across with roughly half the capacity. Both buckets have drainage holes in the bottom and nest together for compact storage.
We designed the size difference intentionally — the big bucket is perfect for hauling sand to build a castle base, while the smaller one works well for mixing sand-and-water combinations or carrying shells. Kids often use them as stacking tools to create tiered structures.
The bag is a simple mesh design with a single main compartment and drawstring closure. We chose this streamlined construction because it dries faster than bags with multiple pockets and makes it easy to see when all the pieces are accounted for before leaving the beach.
The mesh material allows sand and water to drain out while you’re packing up, so you’re not carrying home pounds of wet sand in a sealed bag. The drawstring is long enough to tie onto a beach wagon handle or stroller if you need to free up your hands.
We sell individual replacement shovels, rakes, and buckets through our customer service team. The character molds are currently only available as part of the complete set, though we’re working on offering them separately based on customer requests.
If a piece breaks due to a manufacturing defect within the first year, contact us for a free replacement. Normal wear from outdoor play isn’t covered, but we stand behind the quality of our construction and want to make sure you’re satisfied with your purchase.
